Santa Clara, CA - March 10, 2004 -- Noosh, the leader
in print management software-as-service solutions, today announced
the addition of new customers and the migration of several long-time
customers to the latest Noosh technology, Noosh 5.
New accounts from the past year include leading Fortune 500 companies
such as Capital One, Hewlett-Packard, and Nextel Communications.
Other major account additions include Erickson Retirement Homes,
The San Jose Mercury News, and The San Diego Union Tribune. Noosh
has also added three new US Federal Government agencies: the National
Institute of Health, Department of the Interior/Fish and Wildlife
Service, and Office of Justice Programs. Earlier Noosh customers
choosing to migrate to Noosh 5 included General Electric and the
Star Tribune Company.
All of these customers subscribe to Noosh's "software-as-service"
application suite. Instead of incurring the high costs associated
with installing and maintaining software in-house, Noosh customers
pay a fixed monthly fee for use and benefit from the rapid deployment
that is often difficult to achieve with in-house projects. Suppliers
can be brought online in a matter of hours, and, for customers deploying
in 2003 and beyond, suppliers pay no order transaction fees.
Unlike other hosted software applications, Noosh 5 has been designed
for easy integration with existing business applications. "Noosh's
on demand technology is easily customizable; moreover, its APIs
allowed us extend Noosh's core functionality to build a book publishing
business application for our customer, BookworXs, (a subsidiary
Georg von Holtzbrinck) that has greatly improved the process of
planning, estimating and pricing new publications and reprints,"
said Wolfgang Weber, CEO of Heidelberg Prinect Systemhaus, a division
of Heidelberger Druckmaschinen that has integrated Noosh with BookworXs'
existing SAP, Klopotek and internally developed pricing software
applications.
"Our customers need to control costs and shorten time to market
of print and direct mail projects," said Mike Gardner, CEO,
Noosh, Inc. "The software-as-service model and rapid supplier
enablement allows them to get started with Noosh quickly. The flexibility
in configuration and customization ensures that they will receive
value in each of their unique business environments."
